Call for Paper and Manuscript Submission Guideline

The Journal of Amhara invites authors to submit manuscripts for publication in its inaugural issue and subsequent publications. This is a historic opportunity to contribute scholarly work and share insights related to the Amhara people’s history, cultural heritage, and the current political and socio-economic challenges they face. Submissions may also offer evidence-based analyses and practical recommendations for addressing these challenges.

We welcome submissions from a wide range of contributors, including scholars, researchers, educators, policymakers, political leaders, program managers, human rights advocates, and organizations working in civic and social justice sectors. Submissions may include research articles, case studies, policy analyses, documentation of lived experiences, practical initiatives, and lessons learned—particularly those aligned with the Amhara people's struggle for justice and survival.

Topics of Interest.

We encourage submissions on, but not limited to, the following themes:

  • Amhara history and cultural heritage

  • Socioeconomic challenges affecting the Amhara people

  • Human rights and justice issues facing the Amhara community

  • Political dynamics and security concerns in Ethiopia, especially as they impact the Amhara region

  • Best practices and success stories related to the Amhara people’s fight for justice and survival (submitted by individuals, groups, or organizations)
